We’re half way through 2016 and I have NEVER tried Beauty Blender before 🙂 #BeautyBlogger
Simply because I did not believe in it! The idea of using twice as much (or even more) product was not very appealing, since sponges typically soak up liquids (i.e. foundation, concealer, liquid highlighters etc.)
Soooo, after trying it today for the first time, here’s my review / impressions:
Does it make you use more product by soaking it up? – Yes! But, not us much as I thought it would!
Does it help to make your foundation / concealer /bronzer etc. application faster? – No! (At least I was bouncing for quite a while 😀 )
But why is everyone so obsessed with it?! And I will tell you why right after the first application! -THE FINISH!
Yes, the finish that it gives you will never be able to achieve with any brush, i.e. flawless but at the same time utterly natural look without any cakiness! And I am OK with using a little bit more product than usual, since that’s the whole purpose of it – to give you the desired coverage and beautiful finish that you’re happy with, otherwise why would you keep a foundation, for instance, if you’re not happy with the finish it gives, right?
Here, with the Beauty Blender I applied my Foundation, Concealer, did some baking with loose setting powder, Highlighter and a little bit of Bronzer.
There you have it! If you are just like me and have never tried it before – you should! It will change your makeup game & don’t forget to wet it before using, of course (#DUH!) 🙂

A new amazing drugstore product alert, my beauties ♥
Not Your Mother’s line caught my eye in my local Target a little while ago. It is quite affordable but has a whole range of various hair products. And of course I did decide to try it out because I use up my dry shampoo like nothing else! #LITERALLY 🙂 To have an even more affordable option is always a + !
I must say, it really exceeded my expectations! More than that – I do like it even more than the product I was using for years (quite a statement but so true)!
It absorbs all the greasiness from the roots of your hair immediately making you hair look and feel very clean and fresh, not powdery whatsoever & what’s most important – no heaviness effect after using it, i.e. I really do not feel like there’s product in my hair.
It also smells really good (very fresh), nothing ‘too much’. A little goes a long way as well.
I highly do recommend this product & actually really am excited, since I’ve found a new favorite dry shampoo!

Today we are going to be reviewing BUXOM Full-On Lip Cream, which is claimed to be ‘the best lip gloss EVER’ by a lot of beauty influencers!
Buxom lip cream comes in 15 shades to choose from and retails for $20.00 in SEPHORA
Its consistency is quite thick and it IS really sticky! Surprisingly, it did not throw me off in this exact product (that is the main reason I am not a fan of lip glosses in the first place)!
Because it is very thick, it does not bleed whatsoever & looks beautiful on the lips giving a stunning glossy effect and a gorgeous rich tint. And because it is sticky – it lasts a very very long time no matter how many times you rub your lips!
It does give a strong tingling sensation throughout the entire period of wear, it does not hurt the lips though! It is a very pleasant feeling I must say 🙂 simply because it does feel like a plumping effect ♥
As for the price, of course it is more on a higher side but I do feel like you DO get what you pay for. It does not require re-application, hence it will last you quite a long time & it IS an amazing product of a high quality with great and safe ingredients!
I do recommend you trying it out, you can test it in the store first and then make up your mind about the shade that suits you the most, how it feels on your lips etc. That’s what I did 🙂

Yet another new NYX Product review on my Blog!
Color correcting is something new to me. I was using brightening concealers on my under-eye area for quite a while now. It was working for me but my inner corners seemed “darker” than the rest of my face regardless. I have always wanted to try out products that would counteract blue under my eyes and in the inner corners.
DISCLAIMER: If you are experiencing problems with certain areas and feel like you do need some color correction – use products with the OPPOSITE shade to your ‘problem’ areas! In my case it’s blue – so I needed orange / peach product, if it’s red – green based products etc.
Referring to the color wheel is the easiest way to make the right choice!
NYX COSMETICS Dark Circle Concealer comes in a convenient pot with 0.1 oz. / 2.9 g of product. A little goes a very very long way. It retails for $6.00 and believe me it will serve you a long time ♥ I’ve been using mine every single time I wear makeup and it’s still almost full!
I find the best way to apply it is using your finger in patting motions, since your fingers have natural warmth to them which helps to deposit product in the desired spot and ‘lock’ it in there!
I am quite sure you are not going to regret buying it! So I highly recommend you trying it out if color correcting is what you’re looking for right now. My dark circles were gone in no time! Watch me using it in my latest VIDEO

– Price: EVELINE CC Cream is very affordable! I got mine for a little under 8 USD. Honestly, it is an awesome deal! Especially considering that, for example, such product as “Josie Maran Serum Foundation” costs 42 USD at Sephora! Whereas, it is clearly a ridiculously similar product (imho) to Eveline CC Cream (consistency, coverage, spf, even scent! etc.)
